Bui Thanh Trung
Group IT Director
As Fusion’s Group IT Director, Trung takes care of IT operations at corporate head office, and provides support for the hotels. His experience in information technology spans more than a decade, including the role of IT Director with Oceanami Villas & Beach Club where he was responsible for relating IT & ELV during their opening period, taking care of their network infrastructure, PMS, POS and maintaining compliance with inventory interfaces. His technical skills in network management, database systems and operational systems in a hospitality context provide great value to Fusion.
Roff Van Valkenburg
Head of Design
Rolf returned to Fusion in 2019 as the Senior Concept Designer with over 18 years’ international experience as an architectural engineer and interior designer. With a broad range of skills and experience from overseeing architecture, interior design, engineering and project management, to managing company organisation, quality control and business development, Rolf holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Delft University of Technology, one of the top three architecture educations in the world. Prior to moving to Southeast Asia, he managed his own architectural design office in the Netherlands.
Director of Operations
With more than two-decade experience in both hospitality and FMCG with international brands such as Movenpick and Starbuck in Switzerland and Thailand, Markus has held various positions in both brands and other companies prior to joining GLOW Hotels & Resorts in 2014. Markus quickly embraces a multi-disciplinary approach to the different areas in both operations and strategic business planning. As a Director of Operations in Thailand, Markus works closely with general managers to ensure staff satisfaction, guest experience, and achieve business goals.
Group Commercial Director
Christophe oversees revenue strategy for all hotels. Before joining Fusion, he was Area Yield Manager Indochina and the Philippines with Hotelbeds, where he took responsibility for managing key accounts, conducting in-depth analysis to determine strategy, and provide efficient and scalable solutions to improve organisational processes. Christophe was Group Revenue Manager for Fusion in 2015 where he helped achieve financial targets through effective revenue management and distribution strategies.
Lam Minh Thu
Group Marketing Director
With 16 years in the international hospitality sector behind her, having held positions at Six Senses Hotel & Resort, InterContinental Hotel Group, Hyatt Hotel Corporation, and Banyan Tree Hotel and Resort, she has a broad yet intimate understanding of luxury hotel and resort operations. Her experience in sales and marketing includes wholesale leisure and MICE, e-commerce, brand alignment, and on and off-line marketing. Minh Thu’s career passport now features long-term residency stamps from Vietnam, Thailand, Maldives, and Cambodia.
Nguyen Huu Anh Chieu
Group Financial Controller
Chieu is overseeing the company’s financial operations and budgets for all hotels. She majored in accounting at the University of Economics, HCMC before going on to gain additional qualifications in internal auditing, human resources management, chief accountancy and costings, as well as experience in setting up complex accounting systems. Chieu worked with Liberty Central Hotel as their chief accountant, and as Deputy Director of Finance with Liberty Corporation, where she took responsibility for controlling revenue and costs for all branches managed by Liberty Hotels Group.
Vo Thi Kieu Anh
Human Resources Director
Kieu Anh takes responsibility for the HR operations of Lodgis and Fusion corporate office, providing essential input into daily human resource operations, policy and longer-term strategy, overseeing recruitment as well as supporting properties’ HR. Holding qualifications in English, foreign trade and accountancy, Kieu Anh has a strong background in senior HR management, including building, updating and launching internal standards of operating procedures in compliance with legal requirements. Her previous role includes Head of Human Resources Vietnam with Jones Lang LaSalle Vietnam.
Huynh Minh Hai
Group Manager - People Development
The Fusion experience relies heavily on the STARS who ensure that memorable moments are created for each guest who visits. Guiding them in their understanding of guest expectations requires training pillars to be delivered, performances monitored, and employees engaged at the highest of levels. With expertise in employee training and organisational culture development, Hai uses his professional background to deliver diversified and effective training programmes for the company’s staff. His previous roles include Human Resources Manager with Hotel Royal Hoi An.
