Representatives of Fusion Hotel Group and Dong A Hotel Group signed the Hotel Management Agreement
Stretching nearly 1km along the banks of Nui Coc Lake in Thai Nguyen Province and just a 90-minute drive from Hanoi, this resort represents an attractive Hanoi weekend getaway, meeting & group destination, and a retreat for domestic and international travelers. The existing 24ha development consists of 15 bungalows and 58 hotel rooms with 8 traditional Vietnamese houses of up to 300 years old. The plan is to reposition the resort to an upper-upscale resort. The Fusion team will work with the owner to create the concept & program and support execution of the development plan. At completion, the resort will include up to 185 keys, offering full-service amenities, taking advantage of the site’s natural surroundings. At the signing ceremony, Mr. Peter Meyer, Vice Chairman of Lodgis and owner of Fusion, stated: “We are very excited to work with Dong A on this special project and believe our wellness operating expertise will allow us to make a valuable contribution to the resort’s repositioning.”
Mr. David Roberts, Chief Operating Officer of Fusion added: “Fusion Hotel Group provides unprecedented experiences for travelers from the moment they enter our properties and through every touch point during their stay. In line with this spirit, we were excited to collaborate for the management of the Nui Coc Resort where the stunning natural surroundings will provide an ideal setting for wellness. It will be a seamless blend of nature, cultural art, locally inspired hospitality, professional wellness and health care programs. For guests, the journey will focus on elevating their physical and mental balance.”
Thai Nguyen Province has the advantage of a gateway location between the northern midland mountainous provinces and the Red River Delta region. The area is famous for approximately 1,000 historical cultural relics and scenic spots. With about 2.5 million visitors in 2023, the location has become a growing destination for domestic and international tourists. The local government has high expectations for the region’s growth as a travel destination in 2024 and beyond. The Nui Coc Lake Resort will no doubt contribute to the region’s attractiveness as a destination, driving new tourist demand and building Thai Nguyen reputation as a wellness retreat.
Fusion’s professional service standards and experience-driven concepts have attracted both domestic and international travelers. Fusion’s track record of incorporating local characteristics and style into their designs distinguish their properties. The company’s dedication to their signature wellness concepts, diverse spa treatments, breakfast anytime, anywhere, and an experienced team of “Fusionistas” ensure bespoke service to their guests.
The Nui Coc Lake Wellness Resort by Fusion is expected to commence operations and welcome its first guests in early 2026.
